Artist Statement

Her work revolves around social practice, such as gender studies, anthropology and the queer community. She thrives in the discomfort of ambiguity and often incorporates the element of fluidity in her works. As a former painting major, she is dissipating from a realistic expression to abstract expressionism, engrossed with creating therapeutic vein-like works. In her current project, she is experimenting with textile mediums and expanding to installation works in hopes of creating pieces that enhance connections with the audience.
